The New York Times NewFronts
Concept, spatial design, and content for the NY Times Newfronts, 2014.
We created a full-scale, branded, experiential event. We developed the user journey, an designed all of the physical and spatial elements like the design of the stage and screen, plinths which were used to display content, and the seating arrangements.
The content consisted of animation, sound design, lighting, interstitials and branded packaging. Selection and editing of existing NYT content & typography were also part of our load.
The concept was simple, we dissected the logo and turned it into a physical environment. We then used the content in various takeaways and branded elements.
